ONCE AGAIN -이한중

Once again dawn comes at 6 am, May 23, 2010,
Once again the last night sleep
was full of dreams of the unexplainables.

Once again yesterday is the memory that
I'll cherish with fondness.

Once again my aging body is waking up slowly
with aches and stiffness.

Once again I make the fresh coffee
to wake up quickly and fully.

Once again I open the bible to find HIS words.
Once again I look forward to welcoming this day
of promise, hope and a yesteryears' dream.

Once again I'm preparing to discuss
with my sweetheart in regard to
how to participate in the celebration of life
along with other sentient beings.

Once again I check the weather forecast.
It's going to be sunny and 84 degrees.

Once again the daily lengthening late spring day
is expanding in front of my eye
as an ever-expanding white canvas
that has to be filled somehow on this day.

Once again my heart is prayerful and
wishes that it will be filled in such a way that
is pleasing to HIM and that
this good day will pass with HIS blessings,
not with anymore tragedies and blunders that
we have to suffer and endure.

抒事的 이라기 보다는 靈的인 향기가 나는
그런시들입니다.

Thinking of something extraordinary while living a perfectly ordinary life, and
living with a double vision, one being worldly, mundane, and the other being God's or something holy and spiritual,
may be my way of living, as well as that of so many good- hearted people I have come to know in my life.
