Wang Deshun, known as China’s hottest grandpa, is being venerated in the country as an example of how to grow old without fading away.
I guess this is a good example that we should "go and find" happiness and youth,
instead of waiting for the happiness and youth to find me.
The latter will never happen.
Mr. Wang is the guy who practices "going and finding" his own blessing.
The older we get, we should be braver like Mr. Wang.
The "stupid"oriental philosophy and doctrine (those of Confucius) says
that old person should stay "silent and humble."
Well, "Silent and humble", for what?
The Confucian doctrine promotes that old persons should die as soon as possible.
The Internet is full of these kinds of spam e-mails.
Here, in Laguna Woods, we live side by side with old Jewish people everyday.
They are loud, cantankerous, and opinionated, more so than younger people.
That's the way to go !!
Please don't lean on the old oriental attitude. Get rid and get out of the old traditional habit.
늙은이라고 잠자코 있으면 아무도 거들떠보지도 않는다.
얘기할것은 하나도 빼지않고 다 얘기하고 떠들어야된다.
그랬을때 대우가 달러짐을 당장 느낀다.
