"강정화 Art Studio"는 Denver 지역의 한인 사회에 중요한 일부분이며,
강정화 화백 (Katharina Kang)은 의대 Dr. 강창운 동문 (*78)의 부인이 되시고,
Studio의 몇명 student들이 SNUA Rocky Mountain Chapter에 연관이 있어서
서울대 미주동창회 website에 올릴겸 만들고, 또 여기에도 올립니다.

I always admire people who have creative talent.
This is the case.

Thank you, WM, for sharing all the great paintings and the story.
It is indeed a great pride to have such accomplished artists in our alumni families.

Painting is a one of the best hobbies that one can pick up especially after retirement.
It, as well as musical instruments, requires a great deal of "hand-eye-brain" coordiantions
which is a good thing to practice for senior citizens.
Since you said it (I was just waiting for you to say that, ㅎ, ㅎ, ㅎ.),
I will brag a bit about my wife and other alumni families.
She had never painted before but she's now a pretty good painter.
I have to mention that, with no doubt, she met a good teacher.

My sincere congratulations to the lady artists including your proud lady, of course.
It seems Denver is where all the great talented artists are concentrated.
Perhaps your art studio there should branch out throughout North America
into every major city.

올려주신 그림들 구경 잘했습니다.

특히 난초그림이 마음에 들었는데,

지난 주에 전시회사진을 보면서 웹 마스터가 그린 그림도 있겠다고
생각했지만 사모님께서도 작품을 출전하신지는 몰랐다가
오늘에사 덧글 속에서 발견하고 감탄했습니다.
옥진씨 답게 정교하고 완전한 classical painting에
놀라면서 동시에 부럽습니다.
축하드립니다. Grandma Moses보다 일찍 시작하셨으니
Granma Okjean Kim의 그림이 속속 나오게 되기 고대합니다.
