Does this indicate that "all" or "any" diet advice is false? I do think so.
Such advices are more of a "passing fad", commercial, of fashions and vanities, that last only a short time.
Do we know any weight loss diet programs that last more than a season?
Even the human consumption of beef may not have any meaning with the greenhouse effect.
If cows don't eat grasses, the uneaten grasses will eventually turn into methane and CO2 by natural composting.
It really doesn't matter as the "organic" carbon in the grass and animal, whether eaten of not eaten,
has to go somewhere, that is into the atmosphere.
However, mineral carbon is a different story.
The carbon in coal and oil will not get into the atmosphere unless they are burned by us or the nature.
An interesting, well thought out, observational study on beef intake,
which stirred up the world of nutrition establishment.
Basically the conclusion is that nobody knows so that
one may eat whatever one feels like except the case where
you choose not to eat beef as much in order to lessen the greenhouse effect.
