I do not think you missed much by not watching the movie.
The documentary is equally good as the movie.

8 spies who leaked Atomic Bomb Intelligence to the Soviet
Klaus Fuchs
Fuchs, a German-born physicist, fled to England amid the rise of Nazism in 1933 and became a British citizen in 1942. By that time, he had already offered to spy for the Soviets. In late 1943, Fuchs joined a group of British scientists who traveled to Los Alamos to work for the Manhattan Project, and he later passed key information about atomic weapons design to the Soviets that enabled them to accelerate their nuclear program. After decrypted cables revealed Fuchs’ espionage, he confessed in early 1950. His testimony led authorities to Harry Gold, an important courier for other Los Alamos spies.

The Potsdam Conference is perhaps best known for President Truman’s July 24, 1945 conversation with Stalin, during which time the President informed the Soviet leader that the United States had successfully detonated the first atomic bomb on July 16, 1945. Historians have often interpreted Truman’s somewhat firm stance during negotiations to the U.S. negotiating team’s belief that U.S. nuclear capability would enhance its bargaining power. Stalin, however, was already well-informed about the U.S. nuclear program thanks to the Soviet intelligence network; so he also held firm in his positions. This situation made negotiations challenging. The leaders of the United States, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union, who, despite their differences, had remained allies throughout the war, never met again collectively to discuss cooperation in postwar reconstruction

I watched the full length of the above documentary video, "The Trials of J.R. Oppenheimer".
Once I started to watch, I could not stop and turned the screen off.
Though the movie, "Oppenheimer", should be a very good one to watch,
I will not watch it.
I think I know everything about the movie already, and it will be a very sad movie.
It will be a very sad and frustrating story for the entire human race on earth.
Doc, thanks for the story.
