   지난 6월 프리고진 반란 이후 블라디미르 푸틴 러시아 대통령이 프리고진 대신 바그너 그룹을 이끌 지도자를 물색하고 있다는 관측이 여러 차례 제기됐다. 이번 프리고진 사망을 기점으로 그의 색(色)을 완전히 지우고 러시아 정부가 새 인물을 앞세워 조직을 장악할 것이란 관측이 힘을 얻고 있다.
