I would like to share one video my classmate forwarded.
It did help me to understand a bit more so that I feel it would be worth it to let others watch it.

What is behind South Koreans' love at first sight for classical music? How did the shift of its center of gravity happen from the European “cradle”, where the Classical is less and less popular, to Asia which never stops incensing the exploits of its young stars? This documentary paints a portrait of the musicians and opera singers of a rampant generation in the Far East. Violinist Lim Ji-young, first prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition of Belgium at the age of 20, in 2015; soprano Sumi Hwang, crowned the previous year and official voice of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics; the pianists Chloe Ji Yeong Mun and Cho and their successes at the Busoni and Chopin Competitions. After the K-Pop boom, off to the 'K-Classics' generation.
