If immunosuppressive medications keep the covid virus to stay longer in the human body,
what will it do to the people under chemotherapy in creating antibodies against Covid
after the Covid vaccination?
The pharmaceutical companies say that it seems to be OK under chemotherapy.
I am not sure if we have any in-depth studies on Covid vaccination vs. patients under chemotherapy.
Our family oncologist doesn't seem to know for sure about this aspect
as my wife is getting Covid vaccination now under chemotherapy for immunosuppression
and anti-leukemic chemotherapy at the same time. Any idea??

Hi, Doc, That was a good answer.
Patients on immunosuppressive Rx may not get a robust antibody response
but still should take the vaccination. (By Anthony Fauci). Thanks.
This is a fascinating story about how the virus mutations took place
in one immunocompromised patient over several months before he died.
This mutated variant could potentially create a new wave of infections.
