Korean election law is very strict.
As American citizens, we are forbidden to say anything
about Particular Candidate. Otherwise, they'll block us
at the Incheon Airport. Let's be careful, unless we give
up visiting Korea for 5 years.
They already issued Warning in NY, LA, and DC area
who displayed advertisement for a certain Candidate.
Dr. Ahn Didn't Declare Candidacy yet, as you know.
But they presume he'll almost at the end of the game.

기우 님;
정치 문제를 논의해도 좋습니다. 미국의 Constitution이 보장해주기 때문이지요.
(단지 공산주의 찬양을 한다면 web 운영자가 very upset 해서 무슨짓을 할지 모르니 그리 아십시요.)
We can talk about anything here including politics.
(Believe it or not, we even talk about the religion here !!)
For us Koreans to be well in America, we should pay attention to politics.
Doctors tend to stay away from it. That's why they are the way they are now.
Medical doctors' social prestige has been sliding down straight line since I came to America long time ago,
while politically active chiropractors' prestige went up straight line.
If I don't see your comment in our website by the 2nd of November,
what shall I do for you?
I will try to find some political connections (빽) in the Korean jail system.
At least, I will try to get you an Internet DSL-connection in your jail cell.

Nobody would be jailed because of political activity endorsing some
Presidential Candidate openly, but they can block you for your entr
ance at the gate of Korea - Incheon Airport, "if you're a U.S Citizen".
That's the Korean election law, I understand.
You cannot cast your vote, nor you can register, either.
Someday they might change to include all, U.S Citizen or Not, I hope.
2012 Korean Presidential Election Day will be December 19th,Tue.
But we all can talk about Korean Politics in General, not for particular
Presidential Candidate.
By the way, to my eyes Koreans are enjoying More Than Democracy
I know, Denying and Defying National Identity.
Where else can you find Korean Way of Democracy on this planet?
None - Nada - Nil, Nowhere in this world!
It's far beyond my imagination. Alas!

I just came back from another Wednesday golf in NJ
in pouring rain and more - thunder and lightening.
Weather was not so great, but it is always nice to be
out there.
During the course of outing, I was wondering whether
I misled you about Korean election law. Therefore, I'll
ask Korean Consulate General's Office tomorrow what
are the Dos & Don'ts for US Citizens.
I hope they send me the rules by E-mail, so that I can
forward to our WM to display on our Web. Thanks.

1. I checked with Korean official dispatched to NY today.
According to him, US Citizens are totally Excluded from
the Korean election process from the beginning to the
end.
Otherwise, they''ll not be allowed to enter into Korea at
the gate of Korea, not prisoned.
2. I believe in democracy within the law and under the law.

흠...
그동안 듣지 못했던 얘기 이군요.
한국의 대선 전망은 갈수록 오리무중이군요.
결국은 "그놈이 그놈"이라는 본인 생각이 크게 틀리지는 않는것 같습니다.
God bless Korea !
Note: Forget the Korean 표준말 사용 !
Some of you may never be able to guess some of the Korean vocabularies, especially the one below.
멘붕="멘탈 붕괴"를 줄인말로 정신적으로 충격을 받은 상황을 뜻하는 新造語.
