We are family We are family Pope Francis 의 America visit ( Sept.22-Sept.27) 중 The Festival of Families 에 참석했을때 Sister Sledge가 Hit 곡인 "We are family" 를 불렀읍니다. 이곡은 Bernard Edwards와 NileRodgers가 작곡하여 처음에는 Atlantic Records에 주었으나 Record Label이 거절 당했으나Single로 발간돼어 서서히 유명해저 R&B에서 Gold를 U.S. Pop song 에서 2 등을 차지하여 1979 년 World series에서 우승을 한 Pittsburgh Pirates의 Theme song으로 쓰였고 또 1990년의 영화 The Birdcage와 1997년의 The Full Monty의 Theme song으로 쓰였읍니다. 그리고 2004 년 Boston 에서 열린 Democratic National Convention 에서도 노래 했읍니다. 다음은 가사입니다.
