I Don't Know Anything ..../ 이한중

After having lived three quarters of a century,
I confess I don't know anything but the living itself.
All the knowledge I've learned external to my core, my heart,
simply evaporated in a puff like the morning fog under the sun.
All that used to bewilder, disorient and confuse my lonely soul.
I came to realize that no human being on earth will ever again
impress me, distract me, confuse me, or be worthy of my attention
for the rest of my journey on this planet.
My conclusion is that
creation is creation. The creatures are creatures.
There is not much difference between the leader alpha wolf and the other wolves.
Rats are rats. Man is man. Woman is woman.

Everything external and foreign to my heart is not worthy of my attention
for the rest of my journey on this planet.
Everything worthwhile has to be natural and true to my heart
that was created, designed, perhaps programmed by Somebody
to generate electricity, the light, the peace, the happiness and love.

Courage is the ability to be true and natural to your heart.
Courage is the only thing I need to live my life.
Everything else is only secondary and a derivative.
The only thing, energy, you will need to finish your journey is
courage that will drive your engine, your heart, to wherever it desires.
Follow your heart. Follow the flow of your heart.
I am convinced it will make sure you will get there, the final place,
whatever you call it, heaven, hell, or something else.
It doesn't matter. You will be embraced warmly
as you used to be by your loved ones.

O, having said what I wanted to say all these years makes me soar in my spirit,
makes the engine, my heart, feel much lighter, and
gives me the confidence to travel another thousand miles.
O, truly I do not know anything.
O, truly I still wander in wonder, in awe.
I just continue to look around in this world, in this universe.
I just continue to wonder about what it's all about,
where I am, where I am going, where I have been.
O, truly "peace be with you."
O, truly, I thank YOU, my Lord.
