The documentary presents how Korea responded to the virus in comparison with the U.S.
John Bolton was the one dismantled Pandemic response team under NSC that Obama created.
U.S. has failed to deal with COVID19 pandemic systemically. The U.S. has not been able to do test-trace-quarantine yet.
But businesses are opening up all over the country. The number of daily new cases and hospitalizations is increasing
in 22 states including California. It seems to me that the U.S. gave up to do test-trace-quarantine and let people work
and do the things they normally do with the risk of spreading viruses.

European Union has controlled the virus to the some degree and flattened the curve
to much less cases occurring everyday. To the contrary, U.S. is 74% of the peak and
approaching to March peak. U.S. does not have the systems that need to control the
spread of the virus or failed to mobilize the systems that it has. In addition, there is
no leadership at the top. The president encourage people to ignore the social distancing
and other precautions to curtail the spread.
California has over 30 million people and SK has over 50 milllion. About 300 people
died in South Korea due to COVID19. In California, over 4000 people died. Daily new cases
in SK is well below 100. In California it is more or less 4000.
What went wrong?
We will see what happens after the Tulsa Republican Convention.
Trump didn't mind that some people may die from the coronavirus exposure.
His political ambition and the glory were more important for him.
I wouldn't participate in a stupid political convention while risking my own life.
It just is not worthwhile for such a risk.
