So, what BP? Aren'r we all living with BP?
I have not seen anyone who doesn't have BP.
The article does not say whether it is low BP or high BP.

The systolic hypertension in the aged results from arteriosclerosis and gradual decrease of the arterial wall compliance.
Therefore I believe the early intervention and good control of the hyperlipidemia and blood pressure would be essential
in preventing vascular dementia in late life, in 70's, 80's, 90's and even 100's.
