More than health care, race or the economy, Mr. Obama believes his efforts to slow global warming will be the most consequential legacy of his presidency.

Former vice president Al Gore made the documentary for climate change
and became very rich by getting involved in green energy companies.
For the opponents of global warming, mostly conservative GOP guys,
he was examplified as an opportunistist as oppose to true believer of climate change.
GOP guys who are involved in oil and gas companies portray global warming as liberal agenda
that can advance their political goals.
What is in Gore's documentary is very scientific and make us believe global warming,
but what he did with it was not politically correct.
All the measures that every country in the world can not roll back the risen temperature as normal.
All it can do is to decrease the rate of increase. I think as long as we consume carbon fuels
as an energy source, the trend will continue.
The only ultimate solution is to innovate another energy source that can replace carbon fuel.
Alernative energies, like wind, solar, battery are too expensive and inefficent to replace carbon permanantly.
They are subsidized by our tax.

I am a believer that once we stop contaminating the earth any further,
the mother earth will slowly heal herself to her ancient pristine conditions.
One of the old pristine conditions may be that the weather slowly turns colder into an ice age.
(This is a reverse phenomenon of the global warming that we are facing now.)
Do we want that? I will let the better scientifically informed off-springs of us to decide.
The humanities in the future may rely on nuclear energy to keep themselves warm
and, in one of those future days, an accidental nuclear disaster may wipe us out for good ???
Indeed this appears to be a matter of survival or unrelenting downhill course to extinction of Homo Sapiens on Earth.
I am proud of Obama for what he intends to do after his presidency.
