It is revolutionary, exciting time in neuroscience and neuropsychiatry as brain research advances and
offers all these new informations.
Obviously we have to relearn and rethink everything related to our brains.
What is most exciting to me is the fact that I learn more about myself.
Perhaps the feeling may be similar to when Buddha gained his enlightenment.
So many of us are so ignorant about ourselves, and
to me, we appear to be tied in shackles and behave the way we do
with all kinds of flaws and prejudices.
Donald Trump may be one of the best examples.
I believe once an intelligent man and woman realizes he or she has a significant problem
with his or her brain which creates poor attitude and behavior issue,
that alone will make him or her think twice and may seek medical help if necessary.
What I am saying basically is that finally human race may learn to love each other
through universal enlightenments of some sort.
You may say I am dreaming wildly with too much of stretching my imagination.
Thanks for your comment.
The video interview with Joshua Gordon, MD, PhD, head of National Institute of Mental Health,
is a most fascinating and enlightening.
We are learning so much about our own brain and our own behaviors.
"As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being."
