I repeat;
"I was once lost and now am found,
Was blind, but now I see" (I wish)
(What a Word!)
Thanks.

Thank you, Webmaster, for putting these words by John Newton on our page.
Perhaps all of us can identify with every word he said.
Some time ago I myself realized I'm here and now through the amazing grace
John Newton so eloquently wrote, and the singing of the words
became sort of another national anthem for America.
On this Memorial Day, once again we think of all those young men and women killed in all those wars,
including Korean War.
As I have been dealing with life and death of my patients for 40 years,
whenever I am with family members who lost their elderly parent or member,
I often say to them, "We must remember that dying of old age and
natural cause should be considered to be God's blessing in some respects
when we know so many young soldiers were
killed in wars and died of accidents of one form or another."
I say this as a consolation to the grieving family.
And most of the time they would all say that they agree and
appreciate my reminding them.
We have no good word for condolences
for those young men and women killed in action and their families.
We can only pray for them and their families.
