이 사진들이 long exposure로 찍어서 color와 color density가 진하게 나오는것 같습니다.
Aurora를 실제 육안으로 볼때는 이렇게 color가 진하고 뚜렸하지 않지요.
더 희미한 빛의 curtain이 계속 바람에 흔들리듯이 움직이더군요.
처음 볼때는 경의롭지요.
깜깜한 밤에, 보는 사람의 반대쪽 지구를 향해서 태양에서 오는 energy particle이
하늘위 지구의 공기와 부딛혀 생기는 불빛이라는것을 생각하면,
마치 처음 우주의 존재를 인식하게 되는듯한 생각이 들지요.

Aurora occurs in both magnetic poles of the earth.
Therefore, it occurs in the southern hemisphere too especially over the Antarctica.
This is called Aurora Australis (Southern Lights) compared to Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights).
austral: pertaining to southern hemisphere
boreal: pertaining to northern area of the northern hemisphere.
