Good to know you seem to enjoy the life on both sides of the Pacific these many years.

They must like you since you are perfectly normal and not like crazy BB Lee.

Regretfully, however, it was sheer agony to me, though my wife says it is a self-inflicted wound,

to keep the life on both sides for almost 10 years till I got back home to Washington in 2004 permanently-

If I did not have an obligation to the Hopkins, I would have quit and come back home much early-.

But my partner to make a trip(?) to Samsung, Dr. Lee WonRo remained in Korea and became happily ever after,

to meet his wish(?), according to his friends, to bury his bones in Korea- at least I do NOT have to

since I decided to get the cremation-.

Nevertheless, are you coming back home to Chicago in December to spend holidays with family?

If so, I wish you to spare one evening to chat over the dinner to catch up all the missing stories

since I come to Chicago in the week of December 15 to give lectures to Northwestern Univ Vascular Symposium for this year. Indeed, it has been over 40 years since we met when you came down to Richmond.

So, I really wish to meet you again if you are available.

P.S. By the way, I met famous thoracic surgeon SeongSoo Kim finally last May when I stopped over at Denver

on the way home from Vancouver after the delivery of the lectures to Canadian Society of Phlebology.

It was real fun to catch up all those sagas including sad news on my closest senior colleague,

Dr. Lee ChongHeun, pulmonologist, who passed away while he stayed in Laguna Wood which I didn’t know.

So, it sounds like we will miss such good chance to meet in Chicago this December crossing each other just for one week apart. Anyhow, hopefully we could get together when you come either to Chicago or New York- understand you also have another family member living at NY??-. I also come to NY every year just a week before Thanksgiving Holidays for VEITH Symposium (they still invite this 80-year-old bone!)- so that we could rendezvous there as well.
