This is a report of small gathering of five couples of class 65 today.

This was the second get together this summer while waiting for

a few more snowbirds' return from somewhere faraway.

Last time, about a month ago, we got together at Sam Woo followed by

coffee at MacDonald next door, in Irvine.

This time we got together at Mo Ran Gak followed by coffee and pastries 

next door in Garden Gove. This place was so popular that Dr. Hong had to arrive

20 minutes to 11 AM to claim the seats for ten of us.

Thank you, Dr. and Mrs. Hong for that.

When we left, there was a long line at the door.

They do not accept reservation. Just first come, first serve.

Never had such a good tasting, fresh Nangmyun in my life.

As usual, Dr. Chae brought packages for us. Each brown bag had pounds of

freshest dates, 대추, just like the ones I had in my home town, Pochun, Kyunggido

while growing up in my childhood.
