역시 태극낭자군중 고진영션수가 해결사 이군요!

지난 8개월간 17 LPGA 토너먼트를 하는중 한번도 태극낭자군의 우승이 없던차에

이번 고진영선수의 HSBC위민스 월드챔피언십 우승으로 그 우려를 끊었다.

고진영 선수 자신에게도 작년 이대회 우승후 손목 부상으로 고전 승승장구 하던

세계랭킹 1위도 내 놓아야 했던 쓰라린 경험이 있어 이 우승이 더 값지다 생각된다.

이우승을 발판으로 그동안 부진했던 태극낭자군에 큰 자극제가 되기를 기원한다. 본인도

지난 금요일에 닥친 storm으로 이틀간의 power outage로 마지막 2 라운드를

보지 못해서 tape해논것을 볼 예정입니다. 태극낭자군에 더욱이 본인자신에게 선물한

귀중한 우승을해낸 고진영선수에게 큰 박수를 보낸다.

I watched pretty much all 4 rounds, but for the last 3 days,

they played in rainy conditions. It interrupted game quite often.

Ko played very well on 3rd and the final round. I think

it is on the 10th, she made about a 15-foot par putt. On

the 16th par 5, her drive ended up just off the fairway bunker

and she did not have the stands that she could do full swing. She

laid out to the fairway. She made an almost 200-yard shot to the green

in regulation. she nailed a very long putt that may be over 25 feet for

the birdie. I am glad she is back and playing well.

I had watched final round on tape, but unfortunatly I couldn't

have finished whole game on same time slot due to rain delay.

It was a real good competetion between 2 world class players like

Korda and Ko. Jin Young Ko used to have been real good leader and

she had not lost lead hardly after once she had started to lead.

There were no exception on that day, meaning her game had come back!

I am glad Jin Young Ko's game has come back as well as her confidence.

With this win, she jumped up to 3rd from 5th on Rolex World rankings.
