Enough moral relativism: some cultures are worse than others

In memory of 9/11, one can only hope and pray that man on this planet
finds a way in the end to coexist without killing each other or one another.
*definition of relativism:
the doctrine that knowledge, truth, and morality exist in relation to culture, society, or historical context, and are not absolute.

Truths were to be obtained and striven for, but they were always to be tentatively held, ready to be jettisoned when they were disproved or no longer useful.
Truth has had to be fought for every step of the way, almost everything else dear to our hearts, on which our love and our trust in life depend, had to be sacrificed to it,” he wrote later in 1888 in The Antichrist
Truths do change with the times. Our truths are not eternal and do indeed evolve, and not all truths are “equally valid.” They have to prove their worth. Nietzsche put it so in a youthful letter to his sister, “If you wish to be a devotee of truth, then inquire.” What champion of the Enlightenment would argue with that?
*Enlightenment = reasoning. Ask Why? before you believe anything!

Perhaps there is no absolute truth that lasts forever but there are current truth
that makes us live better lives than before. The people who applied these truth
on their daily lives are happier, prosperous, and secure. They are civilized people
who live in the developed countries. However the truth that they believe can not
be imposed on the others who are not by swords or persuasion. Though it may
take a while, the software, i.e, love will enlighten them to understand the
other. The common feature of human mind is that they do not like to be told what
to do.
An interesting reflection.
Each individual is an island universe he doesn't quite comprehend, yet
tries to communicate with other individuals, island universes,
with some success but mostly failures.
No wonder history is full of nothing but the wars.
9/11, 20 years ago, was one of those tragic failures, I suppose.
