Bernie was not a Democrat, but independent. He became a member of the Democratic Party to run for the presidency.
I think he has a good chance to be a nominee of Democratic Party. Can he beat Trump in November?
There may be something going on in people's mind, that I don't know.

Bernie Who? Do you mean such an ugly looking old guy, self-claiming democratic socialist or else?
This guy somehow reminds me of ‘evil-looking mad old professor’ in the cartoon whenever I look at his face, listen to his voice and also watch his stupid hand gestures, leaving bad after-tastes for some reason.
Free medical care for all? Free college tuition for everyone? Rescind all the student loans unconditionally? Free for everything whether you work or not? Sounds like all you need is to fuck around all day only to produce a bunch of morons to get free for everything to ‘live like king’ like North Africans in France, how about that? All for free, huh? What a paradise!
Especially after I learned this guy is a communist, disguised to ‘socialist’, worshiping the communism through the visit to Moscow/Soviet, Nicaragua, and Cuba, etc, I try NOT to waste my time to watch or listen to this mad dog. Indeed. I still cannot understand how the hell the guy claiming ‘independent’ at the senate to become a Democrat candidate not once but twice! He ruined the last election to make Hilary lost and still remaining as 개씹에 보리알, one more time to help idiot Trump get reelected, God forbid!
So-called ‘democratic socialism’ Bernie claims reminds me of a bitter lament on ‘the French socialism’ by my one old friend/colleague, Marcel Beaujean of Univ of Liege, a leading cardiothoracic surgeon in Francophone society with his unique background of American training as a protégé of Walton Lillehei of Univ Minnesota.
Marcel became legendary among his colleagues due to his unique personal/family affair! When his wife was found to have fulminating inflammatory breast cancer soon after he completed the training at Minnesota, he stopped his career, canceling the plan to accept the position at U Minn to stay in the U.S. He instead, took his dying wife back to home at Liege, Belgium with two young children and dedicated his entire time to his wife for over three years till she succumbed. He resumed his career, then, after she passed away, became the leader of the French Society of Angiology together with Michel Perrin until he died in a tragic way with another unique story to have broken our hearts.
Anyhow, Marcel was so upset about the policy of French government implying the so-called ‘French version of the socialism’ and angry at the freeloaders taking advantage although many French intellectuals I know of are proud of, including my own nephew-in-law, Swiss-French who is a linguistics professor. I and Marcel had such hot debates on the pros and cons of this socialism for years whenever we get together but remained skeptical to his criticism, overblown with emotion, till I saw what this socialism should mean in reality through the visit to Marseille a few years ago.
Indeed, I was so shocked to see Marseille is no longer old Marseille but became a dirty Middle Eastern shanty town, taken over by North Africans all over through the last twenty years since my last visit. Indeed, the government honored their Islamic religion so that they were allowed to have four wives who produce an average of 6 to 8 children per wife- some produce over 11 children to be blessed by Allah! -. By the law, they were all subsidized/given for the expenses to raise each child. Allahu Akbar!
If you should have four children, you could be paid by the government more than the average salary ordinary workers earn so that all they have to do is to fuck around all day with four-plus wives to fulfill their duty to produce as many as freeloaders they could, upholding so-called French socialism. What a paradise Allah blessed! Unfair? No Sir! That is the ultimate benefit of socialism because everyone has an equal right to enjoy life!
Two years ago, November 2018 right after Thanksgiving Day, I went to Paris, France with my wife to visit my niece and her husband to spend two weeks together for the vacation at the South of France. Based on Avignon, we planned to roam around to spare more time to revisit Aix-en-Provence for Paul Cézanne and Arles and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence for Vincent van Gogh. But we arrived there right on time when ‘Yellow Vests Movement’ I am sure you all heard of, started to protest the increased fuel taxes, blocking every roundabout of the road mostly along the South of France unfortunately. It was hell for us with nightmare traffic jams to give such trouble, literally harassing ordinary people to move around.
In the beginning, we tried to understand their innocent claim for unfair government policy, etc but soon we figured out that the socialists, freeloader took the advantage on this movement to distort its original aim but demanding more change on the social welfare law to allow the more free load to make many people irked. Over the dinner table with a few more other friends, after we got back to Paris, we had such hot debates on the dark side of French socialism I never learned to swallow.
So, is this what we look for through ‘democratic socialism’ claiming for full social and economic equality of all members of the society with no condition?
Worrying,

I have believed in that most of Americans do not like socialism and Bernie Sanders
has very little chance to become a democratic candidate. But seeing Bernie Sanders
winning Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada and threatening Biden in South Carolina,
something that I did not realize is going on people's mind particularly young people's
mind. Another group of lowest common denominator besides hillbillies are flocking around
Bernie S.(?). So far, it looks like we may be forced to choose between socialist revolutionary
Sanders and white supremacist and isolationist Trump in November.

(CBS Democratic Debate)
Bloomberg came back strong. He is in the race, I think.
Sanders seemed unphased even though everybody was trying to
bring him down.

No matter what the hell Bernie Sanders or Bloomberg may be,
compared to the idiot/criminal in the White House, he looks pretty good, not too shabby to me.
After having gone through the past three years with Trump, now, I can take anything or anybody!!

Bernie will meet Kim if he becomes President.
If the election is held today, Sanders will win over Trump.
In every poll, Sanders leads.
In the meantime, Trump is having a party in India with nationalist Modi
who rejects Muslims.
