What about the medicines, Dr. HJ?
How long can we keep them and how can we assess the degree of efficacy reduction?

The above is the answer by Harvard website to your question.
I personally never throw away tablets and capsules.
I recently made a good use of Keflex capsules for one of my grandchildren, which were
some 7 years beyond expiration and worked very well.

Glad I asked you, Dr. HJ, to reassure myself who never learn to throw away like other 육니오 출신. Great help once again!!
Though some of the medicine in the cabinet are more than 10 years old, I feel extremely guilty to throw them away, what can I say!!!
All the best,

According to the United States Department of Agriculture, food expiration dates refer to food quality, not food safety. Federal regulations do not require that expiration dates be put on meat, poultry, eggs, dairy, cans, and boxed foods (the baby formula is the only product that requires an expiration date).
