I don't want to discourage young Korean-Americans
but I doubt many times whether this is a right time for a political job(elected).
We are only 0.5 % of population and so does our wealth.
We need 1) Money and 2) Votes to run for it.
Why not aiming for other influential political job(appointed),
waiting for the time comes when we are a little bit more prepared?

Well, it is true that we are yet one of the minorities.
But one of us still has to take a step into the uncharted water.
We will never get to anywhere without the first brave step.
By waiting in fear of failure, we may find that the opportunities are already
taken up by the early birds.
A young person like Sam can afford to take a risk like what he did.
He build his career by doing that again and again. It's a necessity.
Sam Yoon is one of those who took the first step into the hostile world.
It's wonderful that he did.

I would say Boston is a tough place for an Asian to crack and get into.
But it was a good try and nothing was lost. Time is on his side.
I hope that there will be a next time soon.
With my respect and best wishes for Sam Yoon.
