I was away from our website just for a few days.
On returning, I found the world in chaos all over.
It's too much to show all the details. Just a brief summary.
1. Russia: Putin and his defense generals got almost lost their regime.
2. The U.S. A.: Biden is under an impeachment proceeding.
3. Red China: Xi Jinping and his nation seemed to have lost their future.
4. North Korea: Recurring starvation of their people.
5. South Korea: Lost between surrounding superpowers. Which way to go?
6. Israel: The current regime tries to curb its supreme court and runs into corruption

I am afraid if Japan may rejuvenate itself into a new prosperous nation
from the future of the unfortunate Koreas and China.
The superiority of the U.S. may not last forever. Hey, nothing last forever anyway!!
All of us may be in the same era, at the end of the Roman Empire,
especially, prosperous South Korea may be imitating the final days of the Roman Empire.
Everybody returning from South Korea claims that Korea is wonderful.
Some of them want to return to Korea and actually, a few have left already
from Laguna Woods Village in California. It does not look good.
To me, it seems to be a piece of strange ominous bad news.
When everything appears so fantastic, it may be a sign that something unfortunate and tragic
may be happening in South Korea very soon. Again, the rule is that nothing last forever.
I wish my ominous feeling (불길한 예감) about South Korea turns out to be wrong.
모든 한국사람들이 환희에 날뛰는데 본인만 그렇지 않은 것에 미안합니다.

One of my golf buddies in the CC, Casper, 90 year old German immigrant
told me the other day, "You know, if I am young, I would go back to Germany."
We were talking about U.S. health care system because it is so inconvenient
and unreasonable when the expectation is so high because it is the most proeperous
country in the world.
Another guy, Edmond, 80 year former high school football coach, whom I often
talk about Trump brought up the indictment of Trump on the classified documents.
I told him that we are living in the beginning of the end stage of American Empire
and he agreed.
Biden could well be impeached in the world of Trumpees.
Both Republicans and Democrats know that U.S. economy
depends on the cheap labor of illegal immigrants and it is
the best interests of U.S. citizens to leave the immigration law
in a limbo. Then both parties use it to blame other side for not
fixing it. In the mean time Trump's popularity among
G.O.P supporters rises as his criminality becomes more real.
Trump will lose it in a general election even if he wins the primary
when two major party candidates compete, but Trump may win if
there is a third party candidate who will suck the independent votes.
Then U.S. may go into a chaos.
I think South Korea may be in a deep trouble as much as North Korea.
For months SK is running trade deficits mainly because of China.
China has been catching up with the SK's technologies that China did
not have in the past. Chinese economy is not doing well after COVID.
Population decline in SK is hurting overall economy of SK. Schools are
closign their doors from elementary schools to colleges. Rural cities
are disappearing. There are no successors of old farmers and fishermen
in sight. There are no effective solutions to correct low birth rate.
