These old towns in Korea are dying like people who were born and 

grew up there leaving to bigger cities. There are very few children 

and schools are closing. Some houses are empty. Farmings got easier 

as it has been mechanized and farmers are living pretty well. Governmental 

supports for elderlies are close to any other developed countries. 
 

They often summon seasonal workers who are foreigners to help them. 

Young men who could not find partners in Korea get their brides from 

other nations. Some families who are sick of hectic urban lives move 

into these old towns. 
 

The old people who went through hard times are happier than ever now.

It is just wonderful to see them enjoying the remaining lives. Long live 할머니!
