The best of the best, KwanHo, and I downloaded them all in a separate file to go over later more to enjoy!
Yes, like many others, I am still fascinated with this 삼국지 story, no wonder it comes first among three classic Chinese literature!!! The more I read, the more I get fascinated!
Indeed, when my mentor, Mel Williams who was born in Suzhou offered me to come to 중경-성도 with him in the early 90, I didn't hesitate because it was such a unique chance to learn more about 촉- 제갈량! It was indeed one of the most memorable trips I had in China through the years due to this historical background of 삼국지-촉.

So you went to 성도 and visited 제갈량 사당.
You must have seen this poem hanging on the wall.
What a valuable trip it was!
I want to visit those places, but I don't know if it could be possible in the future.

There were quite a few places involved to 삼국지 throughout 중경-성도 area with temples/사당, 비석, etc to make me feel weird like a time machine with no more thousands years time gap, KwanHo. Yes, you ceratinly can, buddy, though you have to organize a private tour by yourself!
Indeed, the main reason why Mel Williams insisted me to join to his trip then - we were invited to the Chinese Society of vascular Surgery held at Chongqing- was the three gorge dam which will bury many of such historical sites along Yangtze River under the water when the dam is finished.
So we included the Yangtze River cruise from Chongqing to Wuhan on way back to Shanghai as the finale to visit many old villages along the river banks with so many 사당 and 비석 which are now all under the water. So those places are no loner available although I understand they moved up many structures to higher ground for the salvation.
Indeed, an extra dividend of the trip to China for me has been such opportunity to stop over many historical sites we heard so many times like 중원 which is current Zhengzhou/Hunan province.

You had such great opportunity to visit under the guide of Mel Williams.
People can't have those fortunes to visit so many and valuable places.
Chinese people are very different from the other races in terms of keeping their own cultures,
customs and traditions since obviously Chinese civilization is so unique and advanced
when compared with the West. Obviously they have good reaons to be proud of.
That's how you could see those historical places as vivid as it were yesterdays.
I also believe that Chinese poetry is the highest among all the others in the world.
In their lives, they expressed their feelings, thoughts, all the mental aspects in reciting poems instantly.
Anybody could do instantly in those days in China. You ddn't have to be a great poet to do that!
What great accomplishments they made! I have been happy to go through these literary treasures.
I am very happy that you had such great times with my presentation of these Chinese poems.
No other people expressed the same feelings as you have done in so many masterpieces.
I feel that you have inherited your family tradition through generation to generation different from others.
I feel that you didn't even read your mother's 내방가사, but your deep interest in Chinese poems
were directly related to your mother's spirit and influence.
I am very glad and happy that you are at times even carried away with 백낙천's 비파행, and many others.
Have a great day.

Thanks again, KwanHo, for your dedication to dig out all these invaluable Chinese poems and history to share with us. Indeed I feel ashamed to have neglected so many chances to learn more Chinese literature from my mother and I really miss her whenever I have some questions on Chinese characters or history. Now I'm glad you would take the role to teach us!
BB
P.S. Yes, I am embarrassed to admit that I haven't read 내방가사 my mother devoted and feel guilty whenever other Koreans recognize it's literary value which I have never thought.

I plan to post two poems called 시조, titled "장안사" and "내금강", which was edited in my usual style.
You will certainly like them when you read, at which time I want you to think about her and her never-endding love to you.
It will appear in the homepage next week.
Sincerely,
Kwan Ho
