Yes it was cloudy, and this was what I wanted. It took almost one week to figure this out.
Thanks.
Only problem is I had processed some 1200 pictures I took in my recent trip
to Northern California same way.
If I post them on websites or send them as e-mail attachments without re-processing,
they will all have cyan cast. And most them will be worse because they have richer color.
To do all over is quite overwhelming.
This color cast seemed to be caused by proceessing CAMERA RAW images in PROPHOTO
color space instead of usual Adobe RGB or s-RGB color space.
All new articles and tutorials are talking about using of prophoto color space
now that we have much more capable printers.
I did not think about web page or e-mail images can not keep up with color improvements of
printing industry. They have very limited numerical codes to write colors.
Thanks again. I have to go to Chicago to attend a wedding this weekend.
Dr. Choi Mu Won's son is getting married there.
I decided to tackle this new task when I come back from the wedding.
This problem drained me badly.
I think you have to check your monitor.
Images on webpages or E-Mails are totally dependent on the monitor. What else?
Please make sure that it is color-calibrated to a proper setting.
Your camera shouldn't have lied as it is a machine (not like you or me).
It's most likely that the original color was the correct color.
Could it be that you might have added "cyan" later?
I guess you kept the original pictures - an important principle.
