Quote from the Internet:
Mercury in ocean fish comes from natural and human sources.
About two-thirds of each year’s new mercury comes from human sources,
especially coal combustion. Mercury is an impurity in coal.
From the air it falls into water where bacteria convert it to a form called methylmercury
that gets into living things and builds up in them.
Plankton with mercury get eaten by little fish, and little fish get eaten by bigger fish.
A big fish has gotten a dose of mercury from every little fish it’s ever eaten.
If you eat it, it will pass that combined dose on to you.
So hint #1: bigger fish and older fish have more mercury,
because it accumulates up the food chain.
Ned says that among commonly consumed fish and shellfish,
some kinds have 100 times more mercury than other kinds.
The highest levels are found in larger, longer-lived predatory fish
such as shark, swordfish, tuna, marlin, and grouper.
Note #1: Those Chilian Bass you order in the restaurant,
belongs to this predatory fish with highest mercury level.
Please be aware when you order them for your dinner.
If you can choose, eat or buy small tuna. The smaller, the better. The bigger the worse !!
Note #2: At our golden age looking toward 80, even if we get AMS,
we will outlive it and die from something else.
Note #3: Mercury will kill our brains.
However, mine seems to be pretty much killed by now. How is yours?

Thanks for the comments, WM.
Luckily for all of us this space allows us in a way to exercise our brain,
which we all need, however way one chooses, and thank you for that.
You and I would agree all of these informations are more pertinent for our children
and grand children, not for our generation.

Hi, Doc,
Can you see the Youtube video at "Robert Frost, 피천득 & 5 월"?
I can't see it while Dr. Choh can see it on his iphone.

No problem with my I-Pad, WM.
I just watched him play to make sure for the second time.

I guess it's not our website that controls and selects embed or iframe codes.
It must be my computer, my operating system, or browser.
Then, nothing much I can do. Thanks for the information.

This is a new information.
It is good to know shark and swordfish have high content of mercury, and
salmon and sardines have lower content of mercury and are safer as far as
the risk for ALS is concerned.
